1. What are your opening timings?

We are open Monday to Saturday. For further information Click here...

2. How can I register with your surgery?

Please come to the surgery and ask to register at the practice. Provided you are residing within our practice area and we are accepting new patients, you will be asked to complete a registration form. For Further information Click Here...

3. How can I contact you in an emergency situation?

If you become ill and need to speak to a doctor urgently please call and ask to speak to the duty doctor, who is available during surgery hours Monday to Friday. You will be asked to leave your name and number and the doctor will return your call as soon as possible, and in usually within 2 hours. They will offer you either an immediate appointment, or advice and possibly a later appointment. This may not be with the doctor of your choice.

Emergencies will be accommodated as far as possible at the discretion of the clinical staff.

Telephone advice is available between 12 - 1pm everyday with either the Doctor / Nurse.

You can also get 24-hour medical advice from NHS Direct

4. How can I make an appointment?

Please telephone our reception or call in. Please make a separate appointment for each family member. A standard appointment is ten minutes. Bear in mind that there is a limit as to how many problems the doctor can cover adequately in that time. If you do not have an appointment and need to be seen urgently we will try to fit you in but be prepared to wait.

It is most important you let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to keep your appointment so the staff can offer it to another patient. It is now possible to order repeat medication on the internet. For Further Information Click Here...

5. What is Choose & Book service?

Choose and Book is a national electronic referral service which gives patients a choice of place, date and time for their first outpatient appointment in a hospital or clinic. Patients can choose their hospital or clinic, and then book their appointment to see a specialist with a member of the practice team at the GP surgery, or at home by telephone or over the internet at a time more convenient to them.
